Presents the Exhibition of Local Identity
'THE CITY' IN TABLE 'opens tonight National Exhibition of Black Truffle of Norcia and the typical products of the Nera Valley, on its last weekend of programming seen in these last days interesting initiatives.
Many of the activities carried out within 44 ° of this Show have seen the valuable participation of various associations, in particular point out the major contribution came from the City of flavors, the national association representing more than 100 municipalities throughout Italy, which with His tasting events daily has been a major attraction.
City of flavors, the day Sunday, March 4, at 15.00 at the Battle Palace has a work shop on the Exhibition of local identities titled "REVIEW OF LOCAL PRODUCE AND EXHIBITION OF CULTURAL TOURISM NORCIA." The work was organized in collaboration with CIDEC , Tertiary Italy, and Gal Basento Camastra.
The objectives of the workshops are varied but all aimed at protecting high-quality cultural tourism through a different territorial identities, priceless heritage of our country.
A first objective is to determine the timing of the exhibition in the 100 squares in Italy, and define the working arrangements for its implementation with the individual municipalities of the candidate cities participating in Norcia
The second is to update the concept of cultural tourism in order to affirm the leadership of the tourist destination as the local district and improve the quality of tourism by promoting the integration with cultural heritage and environment.
The third objective is the promotion of UNESCO sites along the system of property cultic children to promote knowledge and conservation of goods entering the unknown historical and natural heritage in the tourist circuits
The fourth point of the program is to encourage the production of authentic places to make known the peculiarities and typical of the territories; respect the history, landscape and the 'environment, increasing the incentives for local consent to the new frontiers of gastronomy tourism and cultural ethics.
And finally, aim of the workshop is to promote the synthesis operation between different sectors to ensure cooperation between the institutions, creating "value" means the operational capacity of cultural operators and favor projects in partnership with local authorities and industry associations .
The program of workshops will begin with opening remarks by several personalities from the Mayor and President of Norcia Town Tastes Nicola Alemanno. Followed by greetings from the President of Conferederazione CIDEC Augustine Goldin, President of the Gal Basento Calastra, Antonio Pessolani
The work begins with the presentation of the exhibition of local identity by Professor Felice Vertullo. Followed by a debate on the issues addressed and finally, to stay in tune with the spirit of the event, will follow the tasting of food culture.
And the closing day of the exhibition could not miss the appointment with great success with the tastings, always with the City of flavors that at 17.00, at the Battle Palace, presents the final round of '"Atelier Umbrian Flavors" by theme: "WHITE GOLD - BLACK GOLD - GOLD". Tasty samples of cheese, truffles and honey will be washed down with wine "Nero d'Avola." All of the presence of Alberto Marcomini - wine journalist from the "Taste TG5" and a special guest: Mr Renato Brunetta and economist. As in previous meetings, the tasting will follow the screening of a video. One selected for the Sunday, entitled "UNESCO Emotions, emotions Sicily" will be a veritable carousel of Italian World Heritage Sites.
We also point in this weekend's attention by the national TV Saturday, March 3 with the presence of the crew of TG 2, with the heading "Trend and Company" and on Sunday, March 4, that of the Green Line, in search of charming restaurants and cultural services on Italy.
Norcia and its charming old town is preparing once again to welcome the general public who do not miss the opportunity to visit and enjoy the typical and local products.
