How to Reach
In Car
Coming from North
Follow the A1 in direction of Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto and from there take the Spoleto-Norcia road (km 45). From Spoleto is recommended to take the tunnel "Forca di Cerro". Exit at Sant'Anatolia Narco and continue in the direction of Norcia and Cascia, along the highway 209 of the Nera Valley.
From Florence to Norcia travel times are approximately 2.5 hours.
From the Adriatic coast, along the Bologna-Bari exit at Cesena Nord, continue towards Perugia and follow the route described above. (Norcia is from Ancona about an hour and a half).
Coming from South
After leaving the A1 at Orte, continue towards Spoleto. (Rome-Norcia are about two hours). From the Adriatic coast along the A 14 and exit at San Benedetto del Tronto. From there take the highway towards Ascoli Piceno and continue to Norcia (Nursia from Ascoli in the distance is just 40 minutes).
By Train
It should reach the nearest station of Spoleto (located along the Rome-Ancona). From Spoleto, there are several daily coach of Norcia (takes about 50 minutes).
Even from Terni (always on the Rome-Ancona) can be reached by bus Norcia.
In Air
The nearest airport is Perugia (km 120) for those coming from Milan.
For all other recommended from the airport is Rome-Fiumicino (km 180). From the airport you can reach by train to Termini Station and from there by train, arriving in Spoleto.
